While we do not know precisely when we can open our Library doors again, we are making plans for when that day comes!
The Library is unable to open presently due to the Governor’s Executive Order that closed libraries back in March, but we are certainly thinking about you! In an effort to best ensure public safety, the Board of Trustees is working on plans for when the Library can reopen to the public.
Our Board and Administration feel that when the Library doors are open again, it should be done in stages and slowly. Thus, we are initially planning for a pickup service and further opening of the building and expansion of services as other restrictions are relaxed. We plan to quarantine circulating materials and will have to continue to suspend on site programming and public meetings for some time after reopening, all to ensure that our patrons and staff are safe.
Until then, know that we are offering virtual programming, storytimes, and more on our social media and YouTube channel and have a multitude of ebooks, streaming video, and databases that you can use safely from your home.
We miss you and hope to see you soon, safe and healthy!
