A generous bequest was left to the Pequannock Township Public Library by the late Virginia Forde. The bequest was designated to cover the cost of an expansion to the Children’s Department, on the Newark Pompton Turnpike side of the building that will mirror the existing children’s wing.
The project is moving forward and any updates to the project will be noted on this page.

Update 8/9/2017: The construction fence is in place at the front of the Library. Reliable NYC reports that the building permits are under review at the Township.
Update 7/20/2017: Reliable NYC, LLC of Randolph NJ was awarded the contract for the project. More details to come in early August.
