The Pequannock Township Public Library aims to serve every person in our community by providing equal access to literature, information and resources for education, enrichment, enlightenment and enjoyment.

Our Vision

The Library strives to be a dynamic center, inspired by both traditional an visionary library services, which encourages limitless discovery, creation and connection in an atmosphere that is welcoming and safe for all.

Our Values

The Pequannock Township Public Library is committed to upholding the principles outlined in the American Library Association Library Bill of Rights and Freedom to Read Statement along with the following:
– Providing free and open access to information, services, and programs fairly and equally to all.
– Fostering an environment of diversity, equity and belonging, that responds to the changing community.
– Adopting technology that appropriately expands and amplifies services.
– Maintaining a knowledgeable staff that is equipped to provide assistance to all patrons.
– Developing a collection of diverse materials available to all in a variety of formats.
– Creating an inviting, comfortable, and well-equipped gathering place for public use and interaction.
