The Pequannock Township Public Library is proud to be a partner in the BARD Pilot Project of the New Jersey State Library Talking Book and Braille Center. The purpose of the BARD Pilot Project is to offer TBBC members community-based assistance, at local public libraries, with downloading audiobooks and audio magazines from the Braille and Audio Reading Download site (BARD), a service of the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped at the U.S. Library of Congress. The Pequannock Library offers this assistance to any person whose physical impairments, reading disabilities or vision challenges prevent them from reading a regular print book. Applications are available for the free digital player and when the paperwork is complete we can issue a player to a qualified individual. Once you have the player we can download digital books and magazines of your choice for you to enjoy.
